The story of Brisfest began ten years ago in 2007 when a group of people came together to address the gap that was once filled by Ashton Court Festival. Brisfest, formally known as The Bristol Festival, was born and went on to become Bristol’s signature local talent festival. The event was presented at a number of venues across the city including Lloyds Amphitheatre, before bringing the major music festival back to Ashton Court Estate.
